Casie Trosclair, NP-C

Casie Trosclair, NP-C is a current resident of Chackbay, Louisiana. She grew up on the outskirts of the city of Thibodaux where she graduated from Thibodaux High School. After high school, Casie stayed in Thibodaux to study nursing at Nicholls State University, where she earned her Bachelors in Nursing. Casie then became a full-time employee at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center where she began her passionate journey into Women’s Health care. Although she loved assisting in the delivery of babies and in providing support and care for the laboring mother, Casie wanted to become even more engaged and autonomous in taking care of women and their health issues. In December of 2005, at the University of South Alabama, Casie began her journey to become a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Masters degree and then accepted a job in Pediatrics back in her hometown of Thibodaux. Although Casie enjoyed pediatric health care, she still longed for her true passion: taking care of women and their health issues. The opportunity that she had longed for was presented to her when Dr. Morice, an Obstetrician who works with Casie at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, recognized her exceptional bedside manner and compassion for her work. Dr. Morice offered Casie a position as a Certified Nurse Practitioner at Atchafalaya Gynecology and Obstetrics in Morgan City, allowing her to return to her original love. Casie has become a wonderful asset to our office. Patients appreciate her bedside manner, her obvious compassion for her work, and her knowledge of womens’ health care issues. Casie is board certified as a Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She also continues to practice as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. In Casie’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband Drake and their wonderful son, Nate.
